Thank you for you email. I did receive your letter from your friend. Unfortunately we had some regulation changes with the J-1 visa and that is why we can not have you on the program right now. Everyone that is accepted on the program has to have finished a Bachelor degree. Because you are still finishing college, you are not eligible at this time, but please keep the program in mind once you do finish college.

I like to know why UCF changed the J1 visa regulation 30 days before my arrive, and why this new regulation was applied for october group, if the right was to apply to the next group (january). As longer I just need my visa and when I sent my resume the regulation allowed me to go before I finish my bachalor course.

Hello Bruna,
Unfortunately it was not UCF that changed the regulations. This came from the Department of State in Washington DC. When a regulation changes due to the government, there is no grace period, we have to comply with them immediately. I do apologize that this situation happen to you. I hope you will still consider coming on the program once you finished your Bachelor degree. Let me know if you have any further questions that I can help answer.
